I thought it sounded similar. Ah well, when you try and milk a franchise you're going to have the odd bad game come out.

I suppose that's true. Well anyways another bad one was Naruto: Clash of Ninja. If you've imported number four as I have it's fine but the first one sucks.

Yeah the first one has a ton of characters in it, and the shield system actually works. In the games you have guard on automatically when you're standing still. In the first one it can't be broken though so it's not possible to hit anyone unless they're moving or you're behind them. In the 4th one though you can break guards which is vital to playing this game.

Clash of the ninja, the one they released in america SUCKED. I played it, beat it in 15 minutes, and as a huge Naruto fan feeling that this game was pretty shallow, the story very badly done, and a very small selection of characters.... I returned it about an hour later. A sad day indeed. Strangely... I was just talking about that ET game, and we were discussing it's level of suckage-ness.

Well then import Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4. Oh and the reason it had so little characters is because they have to keep up with where the show is in America, and they release them season by season.

Hey, Ramzoe, remember that game you were telling me about? The Disney one that you had to play for Daisy and you completed it in about 10 minutes or something.

I feel this thread could use a revival. This one seems funny anyway.
One of my worst experiences was playing Rogue Galaxy. I was going through the final boss fight, which included several different parts, including parts where you only get one character to fight with. So I manage to get through the first 8 or so fights and finally get to the last one to find that it's a massive health drainer fight, one hit can kill you basically. So I spent ages whittling down this guy's health and healing myself every three blocked hits or so. I get down to the very last bit of health, literally and think "My health bar is full, I can hit this guy before he hits me and I don't have many healing items left, I'll go ahead and hit him to finish the game."
I was wrong.
Really wrong.
He hit me and I died. Keeping in mind that I'd spent about an hour on this fight, I was sitting there and incredibly close to snapping the controller. I turned off the console and waited until the next day before attempting it again.
I had a similar experience on Kingdom Heart 2. This is more my fault though and less due to cockiness. This game is very easy really but the one thing that's hard is the fight against Sephiroth. After several tries, I worked out which abilities worked well against him and only equipped those. However, one thing you need to remember about this game is that you need a finishing move in order to end boss fights. I equppied Beserk mode, which allows you to do more damage when your magic bar is empty at the expense of not being able to perform finishing moves. Obviously, I was using all my magic to heal myself, so this was frequently empty. Whittled down his health and found that I couldn't finish the fight before I ran out of health.
