Same! Loved the ending of Season 2. It leaves loads of plot lines for the third, which I really can't wait for. It comes out in America in October, so I'll start downloading the episodes so it looks like I'll just have to wait.

SEASON FOUR PREMIERES TONIGHT. Um, yeah. Well, in America anyway. Apparently it doesn't air over here until Sunday, but that doesn't really affect me, fortunately. As soon as it's online tomorrow, I'll be snapping it up like a piranha does some nice human flesh.
JULIET LOVE.

Sunday? I had no idea it'd air that soon, here. That surprises me. Still, I'll have to watch it online, too, since I don't have Sky One. Virgin are teh ghey.

I finished the episode about half an hour ago. I won't spoil anything, but I will let you know a few things. We get more flash forwards in this episode, and they don't revolve around Jack (or Kate) like they did at the end of season 3, although Jack does appear in them for a short while. It starts with a car chase, and like me, you should be able to work out who the person driving the car is, if you recall who previously owned that car (you'll know what I mean when you see it). So yeah, we discover another of the castaways who eventually manages to leave the island (although we're of course already doubting that that's a good thing). I already knew that that particular character survived, 'cos I've seen mention of the 'Oceanic Six' before. Also interesting to note is that the flash forwards in this episode appear to be set before those of the finale episode of season three. People from the freighter that Jack contacted are now on their way, and the episode ends with one of them landing on the island, right in front of Jack and Kate. However, the Losties (plus Ben, Danielle, Alex, Carl, and the wonderful Juliet) have already split into two factions by this point, not because there are feelings of hatred between the characters, as such (well, except with Jack and Locke, of course, as Jack is very angry at Locke now), but because of disagreements between them; Locke's faction does not trust the people from the freighter (for various reasons) or simply do not wish to leave. It shouldn't be difficult for you to work out who is leading the other faction, nor who the key members of it are.
I'll leave you with that for now.

Holy zomgpie. I watched the episode yesterday and loved it. I didn't want it to end. It's felt like YEARS since I've watched this. I'm thinking of going through and watching all the episodes again, soon.

It's been about seven months, so yeah, it has been pretty long since was last saw LOST. Favourite part of the episode? Oh, and in the scene where Hurley came across Jacob's shack, you did notice 'Jacob' in the chair, right? That was very quick, and then of course someone inside the shack pressed right up to the window, which was really creepy. Anyway, want to know who was in the chair? Because although I'm sure it is this 'Jacob' guy, he manifested himself as someone else - someone we've already met.

Favourite part? The bit where the groups split. Dun' really understand why, but it was pretty cool.
Someone was in the chair? I didn't see that. Perhaps it was the quality of the video I was watching. o.0

Yeah, that bit was awesome. I loved seeing who would join who. Although a lot of it was obvious. It's going to be really obvious seeing what happens to Locke's group now. Also, I loved that Ben asked Jack for his permission to join Locke, lol. That man is so sneaky. The scariest bit had to be when Hurley was in the interrogation room in the police station, and he started hallucinating that the observation glass had water beyond it, then Charlie appeared and suddenly put his hand to the glass and water supposedly poured in. That made me jump. Here's a screenshot of what it said on his hand. Anyway, the person sitting in the chair was Christian Shepherd. He only appeared for, like, a second, so I probably only noticed it because I was watching a high quality video (managed to find one hosted on Stage6). I didn't see it long enough to recognise them, though. I only know it's him because the Lost Easter eggs blog posted screenshots of it.

I reckon Christian has a lot to do with the island then. From what I remember, he appeared a few times, didn't he? I love how this show just keeps us guessing.

I just remembered that he made an appearance in one of the mobisodes, as well. It was the last one, I think, and it was basically set a few minutes before the opening of season one. It started off from the POV of Vincent, who was rushing around various things that had fallen from the plane, then he came upon Christian, who bent down to stroke him (WTF?! ), saying something like, "good boy. Now go and find my son, Jack. He's got work to do", then Vincent rushes off, and it cuts to Jack who suddenly wakes up in the bamboo forest (and thus season one begins). So you're right; Christian really does seem important. Or rather, the concept of Christian, as the writers have confirmed that he is definitely dead. I think Jacob must be continually manifesting himself, or at least part of the island, as Christian, sending the image of him to Jack to get him to fulfill his task, whatever that may be.

That sounds feasible. I never really thought about it being Jacob manifesting as Christian. Why would Jacob manifest as Christian to Hurley, though?

I don't think it was intentional. I get the impression Hurley wasn't supposed to see that, which is possibly why that other person then suddenly rushed up to the window, causing Hurley to jump back in fright. But it is a bit odd that Jacob chose that particular appearance when Jack wasn't even present. I mean, when Ben took Locke to meet Jacob, Locke didn't see him, but there was - again, for a split second - an image of someone in the chair, when the shack started shaking about and throwing Ben and Locke about. Only, the image of the person was too unclear for anyone to make out who it was, so we have no idea if Jacob appeared as Christian then, as well.

Well, now you've caught up on season four, Richard, I can start talking about LOST here again. I told you Michael was on the boat! It has also been confirmed that he is Ben's spy. That image is from the next episode, the Sun and Jin-centric one, and then we have to wait a few weeks until episode eight, damnit. Oh wait, I said 'boat' instead of 'freighter'. And I used an exclamation mark . And I'm dizzy @_@. That sloe gin has gone straight to my head ~___~. Heeeee.
