Yes it was aimed at you, when we discussed Heroes once, quite a while ago. I find it important to know the names of the people involved in film and TV productions, because I write and talk a lot about the film world and it's important to have that information, otherwise you don't really seem to know what you're talking about. I wouldn't expect you to know those sorts of things, though, Erik, because you're not interested in film or TV, so it doesn't really matter. Kat phoned ME today, all the way from the US and A. I feel special again. Oh, no, I watch TV and movies fairly regularly. I'm just not a sitting in front of TV kind of person. 'Sides, I rarely discuss productions like that, unless I'm talking about what happened it in. In that case, I feel uncomfortable saying the actor's name... because really, they didn't do it. Their character did. Even my most favorite actors I do this kind of thing with, and if not, I'll say the actor's name, followed by "'s character..." because I like to think about it in the setting it is provided to me in. Taking it out of that realm kind of loses a bit of the spectacle for me. Say, if I were to learn about the goings on of the actor who plays Jack Carter in Eureka. I would probably like the show less, because I'd have an opinion of what kind of person he is in real life. I tend to base my likes / dislikes of certain actors based on their parts. If I don't like the characters, I tend to not like them as much.

It's different for me. I grew up in a household where actors' names were thrown about daily. Also, taking Film Studies meant that I was require to have an understanding of the production aspects of a film as well as the actual material of the film itself. To be able to put it into context is something that you need to be able to do for the assessed work, so it has now just become hard-wired into me. I can still immerse myself into the world that a film or TV series presents to me. I just view it as sort of extra-curricular stuff to also know what was going on behind the scenes. BACK on topic . I never thought I would have such an in-depth conversation about the Spice Girls, especially with somebody like Will.

I'm going to be posting on Afterlife some time soon.
Also - I really appreciate how we're getting advertisements for Psych.

Google advertisements thinks we have something to do with the TV show "Psych" so we get advertisements for them at the top. (Because of the Psych Ward.)

Erik - Ahh, I get you now. I wondered if that was what you meant. One of the funniest google adverts that Proboards has is the one about RPing and you get big rewards and big ... and then it has an image of a woman with 'big jugs' but they say something else . It's just so daft that it cracks me up. Hmmies, writing long responses to threads is tiring .

Everyone should buy TWEWY.
And I have met an almost-cannibal duck.
