Awesome . I finally remembered a dream, recently, too. I woke up this morning after a rather scary dream. Again, this is copied from MSN, so excuse the more illiterate aspects. There were two groups, fighting against each other. For some reason, most of my group's fighters were elsewhere. It was just me and this lady ... I think she must have been a princess or something. We were in a normal neighbourhood street, waiting for the small gang that was gonna attack us. We were in the front garden, which sloped down toward the street, and the two of us had a few gardening tools, trying to choose what weapons we would use, but knowing it would be hopeless, because our enemies would have guns. Anyway, one of our friends came to check on us which made us feel a bit more confident, so after he went, I ran down the road, towards the opposing gang's base. I knew they had one of our people, and I think I went to spy on them. As I ran back towards the house I was defending, a van exploded on the other side of the road. It was a van that I had seen them driving past earlier, so I knew that they had cheated slightly, by including explosives in the fight. Anway, I returned to the house. The reason the princess/leader woman and I were defending this house was because, inside, there was this small box that contained governmental secrets, key to leading the society we were in. They needed to get into power, and the governmental secret gave them 900 votes, so they were trying to steal it. However, they also had no qualms about killing the princess lass, 'cos doing that would give them 600 votes, and that was the minimum required to get into power. So I found out from the princess that the guy that had visited us had given her a gun, and I asked her to give it to me, but she wasn't keen on the idea of us killing, but I pointed out that the gang that was coming us was gonna use guns and explosives and whatever they could to get rid of us. Eventually she handed me the gun which was TINY, and I remember thinking "oh god, this is hopeless". I asked her if the guy had shown her how to use it, 'cos I thought that I knew how to use a gun, from watching 24, but didn't want to waste any ammo trying it out, because we only had one round in there. At that moment, we were looking out the front window, and saw the gang veer up the street in their van, the guy they had kidnapped (who turned out to be Joe Preston from school @_@) in the front with them, and they skidded round outside our house and began to jump out. Then I woke up.

Bees stil make me a little jumpy after the dreams I had. The worst part is that it was more than one dream. The first one was where two massive bees were just on the edge of my duvet. This made me wake up and hide under my duvet for about 10 minutes until I was certain they didn't exist. Honestly, they were big and grotesque. The second one was the next day I think. There's was only one that time but it landed on the back of my neck and that made me wake up and hide again.
I can't remember any of my recent ones but I don't think they've been that great anyway.
Oh, I thought I should explain the one about my brothers dying. The oldest died because he got the Triti form of GUILT (known for being the most annoying to anyone who plays) and the other was killed by someone with the powers from The Darkness. This put me in a really sad mood. I think I stopped Sophie from being hit by a car in that one too somehow. I don't remember how exactly or why she was about to walk in front of a car but I know I did somehow.

Over the years, I have had horrible dreams where a wasp has appeared and I could hear it buzzing around me, and in the dream, I am also asleep in my bed, but aware of the wasp, and jerked awake and hid under the covers, like you said. But once, there actually was a wasp in my room when I woke up, which only made it scarier each time I dreamed that again. Thank you for saving my life!!
Now for last night's dream, which was EPIC. Actually, I might just write it in my diary first, to check that I remember it, then I'll probably type it up here. I don't feel like typing it right now, though, because it's going to be really long.

I'm a bit scared of certain animal when I'm sleeping. Not fussed by bees or insects like you guys, but I get SO scared when I got woke up by cats fighting in the night. The sounds they make when they fight are SO scary when they wake you up doing it. o.o Anyways, Sophie, you need to write up your dream. I want to hear the epic...ness. That a word?

I'm always hearing cat fights in the middle of the night, so it doesn't really bother me. If Coco's in my room, she'll run off downstairs, presumably to investigate.
I will type up about my dream soon. I'm so exhausted right now.

I don't remember the epic dream I had on 3rd June. I think a lot of it revolved around stuff happening in some pseudo, dream version of my school. I always get that. Like, last night, I had a slightly unnerving dream about not getting homework completed or something, and I think it was quite long, but eventually I woke up, and I worried about it for a few seconds, and then I opened my eyes and looked up at the ceiling and was just like "what the hell?! I've finished school forever! I don't have to worry about homework anymore. Stop being stupid". That was pretty much it .

I had another one about bees a while back. This is actually getting a little annoying.
When I was in NI, I had a really bad dream. Some creatures that my mum said were wolves but had green fur with reddish spots and resembled jaguars were wandering around Audley End station. We were on the Cambridge side of the platform and there were three of them. Two managed to move the side but one was still right in the line of a train and then everything went a bit Sin City on me. Obviously the train hit this mysterious creature but I could only see how bad it was in between the carriages, which ended up like a load of photos with only the blood in colour. I woke up pretty quickly after that.

Wow, a Sin City-esque dream sounds awesome, but then scary, colourful jaguar-wolves aren't so much. Also, aren't you so glad that we haven't been sucked into some dream machine similar to that in Paprika? - YET.

Yeah, and crashing into buildings as it attempts to eat you . I don't remember the dream I had last night, but I think that was slightly worrying too. I had one a few nights back where I remember watching my dad move his arm back slighting, and his elbow just sunk into a wine glass of ours and it instantly broke . That must have been inspired by the fact that my mum broke another wine glass in a similar way the other night, except her elbow didn't sink into it, it just knocked it down onto the floor.

Yesterday morning, I was woken up at eight-thirty by my mum who was poking me in the face, but right before that, I had been dreaming about her, and Alec and I on this ship thing that she had. There were all these regulations that were important to having a good ship, like the incline on the chair in the room on the upper deck, which the owner of the boat sat on - depending on the incline, you could get a very good view of the seas before you, which was apparently important, and I had advised her on all this, but she had got it wrong. So we were in the room, all the walls of which are made of glass, and she said "okay, I may have not got all the right designs, but I did get you this" and it was a small box and my brother opened it and inside was a teeny little puppy and my brother was like "let's name it Pretzel!" and I was just like "wtf? Why would you name a dog-- why would you name anything Pretzel?! What a ridiculous name. We have to call it something far better than that" but my mum wouldn't listen to me, and then in the real world she woke me up This morning, I was dreaming that she, Alec and I had gone to visit my aunt and cousin, and for some reason, my grandmother was also there. My grandmother had a cold or something, so my aunt was putting her to bed, but as usual, my grandmother wouldn't stop talking, and eventually she got out of bed and joined us again, simply saying to my mum "do you know the meaning of the word 'irina'" and it seemed that my mum did, for she went on some long historical spiel about where the word came from (note: I don't know if it is even a real word, I just know it's the name of Cate Blanchett's character in the fourth Indiana Jones film, which must be where I got it from ). My mum, brother and I were sat along the sofa while my aunt was doing something at the table, and then my cousin, Joshua, was like "the back of my neck hurts" so she went to look at that, and then for some reason I mentioned a song, and my mum was like "I don't like that song. It's a bit like that 'I'm like a bird' song, but that I do like" and I was like "oh, I know that song. It's by Nelly Furtado, isn't it?" and she said "I don't know" and then, bemusingly, I started to sing 'I'm like a bird', with the real lyrics (instead of with nonsensical lyrics like you usually do in a dream) and then I got woken up by the phone ringing! It was my mum and I was just like "O.o I just woke up ...". Then I was telling her about the dream at lunchtime and she was just like "I don't even know that song" xD. I really don't know why it was referenced in my dream, let alone why I sang it. I haven't heard that song in ages. I really want to know if I was actually singing it in real life as well as in the dream ... it really felt so real.

I had some weird/horrible dreams last night, and then an experience that was just as terrifying, just a few minutes ago, as I described the dreams to Richard. This is my explanation in real-time, so you'll soon see why it was that I became terrified.
I was with people from my year at school and we were at this ... place. There was like a hangar with a big sort of science-fictiony transport in it. And there was a REALLY steep hill. like, this path that went all around this big green, a bit like the Common in Saffron Walden, and it was on this steep slope. Not sure what we were doing there. Sophie says (22:45): But odd things started to happen ... the teachers had noticed that a few people that were there (not students) were becoming ill or something, but it was being kept under wraps so that none of us got too panicky. But then Charlotte decided that she was going to hide away somewhere because she was feeling rebellious and one of the teachers wanted her to do something that she didn't want to do. Sophie says (22:46): So I was helping one of the teachers search all over the place for her. There were like these weird huts ... like in children's play areas when they have little houses and stuff. Those kinds of things, I guess. We searched in all these things, and the big transport also, but couldn't find her. Eventually I did, and she was hiding under the roof of one of these children's things, I think. I Sophie says (22:48): warned her that the teachers were angry with her, but she shrugged it off and really didn't care. And then I think Kat and Scott turned up and they joined me and Scott was asking Charlotte questions and then eventually she got down and started to lead the way, so we followed after her. Scott was still asking questions and, utterly bizarrely, Charlotte said, "for Christ's sake, alright, I'll Sophie says (22:49): screw you if you stop hitting me on the back". He seemed very pleased with this and then they just walked away holding hands and I was like "the f**k?! Charlotte, you're not supposed to do that!" Then, for some reason, I was with a class and we were going into this sort of lab ... Sophie says (22:50): There was this glass antechamber room that led out onto the path at the bottom of the green, and then another set of glass doors led into the lab room. Sophie says (22:51): The sciencey people from my year in school were there. For some reason, there were three of these dead people on gurneys being wheeled into the room and then the sciencey people from my year were wearing white coats and putting on breathing masks and they were going to perform autopsies on these people. There were one or two people I recognise, and I believe Kat was there also. Anyway, I was last into the room, and there were two teachers in there, who were scientists also, so only a few of us students weren't performing the autopsies. Sophie says (22:52): The two sets of glass doors were shut and I was watching out the inner one because I was bored of the autopsies. Sophie says (22:54): There was this small hangar a little way opposite the building, further down the path, and a guard was standing at the other end of it. Inside this hangar, between him and me, where these tall container box type things. A bit like cubicles, I guess, or portaloos or something. Anyway, I was watching this guy and noticed that his attention had been drawn to something so I followed his gaze and Sophie says (22:55): the cubicle nearest to him started to open, the door opening out towards me so that I could not see what was coming out. Then eventually I realised it was a dog. It seemed a bit lost and wandered out of the hangar onto the pathway, a lead and an umbrella in its mouth. Sophie says (22:56): I realised that it must have lost its owner, and (for some reason) surmised that its owner must have been one of the people that had mysteriously become infected with whatever was going around, and had thus died. The dog started trotting about as though looking for its owner, so the guard started to chase after it so he could keep it under control. Some other men were walking in the opposite direction to the dog. Suddenly, the dog attacked one of these men, biting at his ankle. Then more dogs started running out of the portaloos. Sophie says (22:58): I turned around and told the main teacher in my room that there was a stray dog out on the street that seemed to be acting a bit weirdly and needed to find its owner, so she went out to deal with the problem. Then I saw that the man it had attacked was lying on the pavement, writhing in pain, clutching at his leg, and I realised with horror that I had just sent my teacher out into danger, the Sophie says (23:00): next thing I knew, she got attack-- Sophie says (23:01): Okay, that was not funny. Because my brother took my computer speakers downstairs, I am having to listen to music with my earphones which block out a lot of surrouding sound. And I only have this one lamp on in my room. The rest of it it shrouded in darkness. I suddenly noticed out of the corner of my eye a large white object moving towards me and let out a scream. Sophie says (23:02): It was my dad . He waved his arms to reassure me it was just him, but the damage was done. Then I burst into tears. That was the WORST moment to suddenly appear in my room without warning. Sophie says (23:03): Okay, I am consolled now. I shall continue. Sophie says (23:04): I watched my teacher get attacked by some of these dogs. So I started to panic. I thought they wouldn't try and come into the buildings, but then one of them turned and saw me and started to run towards the building. The outer glass doors were shut, so I quickly ensured the inner ones were shut, with this other teacher beside me, telling me to pull across the shutter (for some reason, there was a metal shutter that could be pulled across to lock up the room). I started to pull it across, but the dog had already broken through into the antechamber and more were following it. Sophie says (23:06): I shouted at the teacher to help, but she was frozen still. "I can't!" she replied. "Why not?!" I said frantically trying to hold this shutter across and lock it into place. "I don't know!" she said (she was basically frozen with fear, but UTTERLY hopeless). So I turned around and faced the class members before me, who seemed rather oblivious to the attack we were about to undergo, and were Sophie says (23:07): still performing the autopsy and I shouted at them "I need everyone's help NOW! Somebody come and bolt this shutter for me!", so then Rob Frost sprung into action. He was one of the few. Most of the others just stood around. He was holding the shutter into place whilst I tried to lock it, but then like in some cartoon, a panel in the wall opened up and out came one of those god-awful little Sophie says (23:09): kiddies' electronic toy thing with a black and white screen. There were numbers of the screen and I quickly realised there was some number puzzle I had to solve in order to be able to lock the damn shutter, so I looked up at everyone and yelled "Oi, you lot! Anybody who is good at Math, come here NOW". (I actually observed in the dream that I should have said 'Maths', rather than 'Math' and was going to correct myself but the dream was already continuing, so I just let it go on). A few people rushed to my side and I gave them the device so they could figure the puzzle out. Sophie says (23:10): Unfortunately, I had just noticed that there was a side glass door on the side of the building and some of the rabid dogs were trying to get in that way as well, by way of bashing against the door. So i rushed over there and was trying to prop up a table against it (the dogs could only jump so high, so they couldn't jump over these tables). But AS ALWAYS WITH DREAMS, not enough people were helping me. Sophie says (23:11): I was pushing this table against these dogs again and again as I tried to put my hand out to pull the door shut (for some reason it was actually open). And then the dream ended.
There was a lot more to it. More stuff happened before that weird whole searching for Charlotte happened, and also there was more detail to my attempts at barricading that room against the zombie dogs, I just don't really remember it.
BEFORE that dream, I had one earlier on in the night where there was lots of sailing across seas onto new continents and I was with some of the LOST characters and one of them had been kidnapped or something, but, ugh, I don't really remember much of that.
