Nanny McPhee xD
My sisters were watching it yesterday and I used it as an excuse to take a break from my coursework.

HAH! How?! I can't stand Colin Firth. Nobody could make me watch a film with him in, not even my mum.

Last full movie I watched was Stardust on Saturday night. I remember a goat-man called Billy; Michelle Pfeiffer switching between hot and not; awwing at Claire Danes' glowyness; and forgetting about the other storylines that were going on, because of the sweet romance stuff. The rest I don't remember, thanks to excessive alcohol consumption at the time.

Last movie I watched was Beowulf. I would have much preferred a less Gollum-esque Grendel...but I can't complain about how realistic some of the scenes were It would have also been nice if it stuck more closely to the poem...that would probably add to the length of it and made it less...modern... And why did Grendel's mum have high heels?!

Last film I watched was Monty Python's The Life of Brian, but the last whole film I saw was Martin Scorsese's The Last Temptation of Christ. We're studying shocking cinema in Film Studies at the moment xD.

Tokyo Godfathers and before that, Paprika. Awesome Satoshi Kon films.

Juno. It wasn't what I was expecting at all...all I knew about it was that it is about teen pregnancy...but that's not really that big of a part in the plot...well, it IS...kind of...

Ooh, I finally saw Juno the other weekend! I'd been waiting to see it for six months or so, so my mum, brother and I finally went to the cinema and watched it. Good stuff. I knew what the plot was, but I wasn't sure how they were gonna fill in the holes, so that was interesting to see.
Anyway, last movie? Erm ... oh, I watched the beginning of the Manchurian Candidate remake in Film Studies on Friday, so that's probably it.

The original Manchurian Candidate last night. I borrowed the DVD off Hansard, because I was ill last week when the class watched it. Good film. I quite liked it, despite the monochrome >__<;;. Frank Sinatra was great. It's a shame, though, because our class always finds lots of things to laugh at in films, and I noticed a few things that I bet they all cracked up at without me.

Major long-lasting love for Natalie Portman compelled me to see The Other Boleyn Girl, so my mum and I went to see it last night.

Iron Man probably. Last full one anyway and I watched it about three or four times in a row since it was the only film I wanted to watch on the flight to Florida.

Last watched Batman Returns. I think all the Michelle Pfeiffer scenes should be removed and made into their own damn movie. That would take out most of the Penguin nonsense and wouldn't show us much of penguins living in the sewers either (wtf?!). Besides, she can mreow in my ear any day of the week. It's a shame 'cos it's a good film, but I think there was way too much of The Penguin and to be honest, barely any Batman himself. I could swear he got the least screentime O.o. It was good to see Christopher Walken, though. I found it amusing that Michelle Pfeiffer was trying to kill him in this, and then in Hairspray she is trying to seduce him xD.

You're making me want to watch that film again just so I can see if it makes any sense at all. Falling from a window is not a good justification to become a villian and I always thought having loads of cats bite you after that might make you hate them rather than make a PVC outfit based on them. Just a thought.
