The last chapter was great, each new chapter is revealing lots of information but leaving a lot of cliffhangers too. Really well planned out.

Just read Chapter -99, and that was a truly epic win of a chapter. Especially the last page. Can't wait to read Chapter -98.
I'm just wondering, now. The chapter numbers are counting down, obviously. Are we staying with this all the way through to 0? Meaning 98 more chapters of this. I'm not complaining, just curious.

I'm guessing that's what's happening, and personally hope so. It's all so great at the moment.

I do think Kubo intends to do another 98 chapters like this but I'm not complaining, it's been great. I really didn't expect allthe Vizard stuff to happen so soon. I felt -99 was a little slow compared to the others so far but it was a great ending. I really want to know how they've all suddenly gained Hollow powers and since it's everyone who's shown up at the fight so far, will it happen to Urahara and Tessai? Certainly, they were exiled but we've never had the reason explained.

Certainly, they were exiled but we've never had the reason explained. I think that was explained somewhere around Volume 20 of the manga. Urahara was exiled for creating the Hogyoku, and his experiments with Hollow powers.

I was always wondering about that because people keep telling me differently so I just don't believe anything. Then again, I shall go and fetch my 20 now.
Actually, what he was banished for was creating a gigai that contained no reishi. I would have thought creating the Hogyoku would have been more likely but there you go.
This has been on my mind for a while but I cannot help but think that Urahara always intended to make Ichigo into a Vizard. It just doesn't seem possible that he would do that accidentally, it's too much of a risk looking at what's happened in the latest chapters. Not just that, but with the number of times the hollow actually saved Ichigo, it seems like it was a precaution in case Ichigo wasn't strong enough.
One of my other theories from a long time ago on GJ was that Keigo must be unimaginably strong not to pass out when Ikkaku went Bankai. That or Kubo just forgot.
Also, why does Tessai work for Urahara? He seems to be in a more important position in this time arc so it's gotten me wondering. Urahara certainly underwent a change in personality but I cannot for the life of me work this one out.

It seems like -97 is now over and we're back in the present. I'm guessing these minus chapters are going to be spread throughout the rest of the series. Otherwise this is just going to be weird.

Yeah, that'd be nice.
So, the Vaizards (misspelled?) are joining in the fight? This should prove very interesting.

Vizards can be romajinised loads of different ways. Typically Vizards, I quite like Vaizards myself but I don't think that's the right pronunciation. Then there's Vizords, which was the very first one I saw.
But yes, this should be very interesting.

Anyone read the latest chapter? Yay for super-old-can't-spell-his-name-captain-boss-man! I've been wanting to see a fight with him for ages. Although, admittedly, he isn't really definitely fighting. But really, it's got to happen soon.

That chapter was really just building up for the epic battles to come, really. All the pieces moving into position, you might say. Good chapter, but I'm excited about what's coming up.
No new chapter next week, though.

Oh, god. Is anyone reading the manga at the moment? There's the most terrifying man fighting Yumichika. Although, it is really reminding me of Ouran High School Host Club for obvious reasons.

Yes, we've all become slightly obsessed with Ouran recently.
The latest chapter was a bit ehh, I love how most of the insults were translated as fugly and then they decided that it might have been too rude to use continually. Seriously though, chapters like this are why I'm not fond of 11th squad. I hate loads of back and forth banter like theirs.
