Okay, don't forget that you're gonna have to make it believable that your character is American, so you'll need to use Americanisms and words that we don't use over here and so on whenever he speaks (but there's no need for it in your narration).
Otherwise, that's fine.

I spell most of my words American.
And me and my mate always use American words. =]

Wicked cool. I have to say, I use quite a few Americanisms too. I always pronounce 'garage' and 'simultaneous' how the yanks do. Well, if you PM me, then I can let you know where your character needs to start off in the RPG.

I miss the times gone by where I could delve into the fascade of a character created by my own fiction, to be somebody that I am not... to use it to get away from everything that is always floating around in my head.
Times gone past, I was happy to be that somebody else, in fact, I ran a plentiful amount of different personnas.
Not now... not now.
