Wow, thanks for your quick responses, guys. I won't say much - this is mostly for you lot to discuss with each other your ideas and so on - so I'll just post the 'issue theme' ideas I have currently come up with, and remind you that not all articles within an issue have to relate to the overarching theme, but it would bring some sense of unity to them all if they did. So, currently, I have: - Violence
- Super Powers
- Gender
Discuss them to your heart's content. Super powers, eh? As well as violence and gender. Topics I'm up for discussing: Games (RPGs mainly) Books (Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Creative Nonfiction,, Mystery, Action) TV (Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Mystery, Drama, Comedy) Music (Classical, Classic Rock, Opera, Jazz, Video Game/VG Remixes) Fanfiction (Star Trek, Doctor Who, etc)

Thanks for all your responses so far, guys. Because I'm bored, and because I'm trying to whip up a bit of anticipation amongst you all, I'll let you in on what I've been working on recently. Now this work is only hypothetical, considering the first new theme has not yet been chosen, but I've done a few mock-ups of what the banner for the issue could look like, if 'Super Powers' were chosen to be the theme. However, don't take this to mean that it will be chosen as the next theme, as I need others to share their views first, before any sort of decision can be reached. Anyway, if you want, you can all vote amongst you which style of banner you would rather have for the Super Powers issue, whenever it may come about. VERSION ONEVERSION TWO

I like version two more, although I am curious about why you used that same picture of Wonder Woman twice. I was having a nice long think about super powers today whilst I was having a bath so I have lots of good ideas for this one.
It would be nice to know what sort of topics our editor intends to cover.

LMFAO, I never thought of it that way; I just considered using different images of the other two, but never thought of how it might be perceived for keeping the same Wonder Woman image. To be frank, pretty much all drawings of her are that revealing, really, so it would have made little difference even if I had changed.
As for my topics, well, you for one know how much I relate things to TV shows or films, in my conversations, so undoubtedly that will permeate throughout. Depending on the theme and the articles, historical and/or philosophical references might occasionally get thrown in, and maybe even things from English Language study if the theme of the article is relevant to it. If I can think of any references within other genres - video games, books, art, etc. - then I'll use those.
Generally I'm going for everything I know. In life in general, I always draw upon experiences, small little facts and tidbits of knowledge I've remembered over the years, whenever talking about anything, so I think I'll be sorted.
Don't forget, this isn't just about how many video game titles we can squeeze in; we need to be able to refer to real life events too, or an unusual story we once read about on some online community or even just a concept, be it scientific, philosophical or what-have-you. If you're a science student, don't ignore that; if you know a fair bit about another culture or country, let that inform what you're writing about, when it's relevant; and if you were always interested in astronomy as a kid, see if you can dredge up any of those distant memories you have of learning facts and figures.
Don't forget to play to your strengths, people.

You could have always used the one with her serving a taco filled with spaghetti. Revealing but hilarious.
Shall we have a bet to see who the first to include "Not again, Severus." is?

xD Maybe it should be more along the lines of, whoever uses it in the most relevant manner wins. That way, we can work really hard to fit it into multiple articles ;D.

Well, I'm always up for talking about real life events. I'd have examples for all of those things, the most being Violence (Kung Fu... I don't beat people up for kicks), and the least being Super Powers. (Obviously.)
Outside of that...
I'm good for: General Ranting, (Aka, my stance on stuff) (All) Video Game Mentality, (Violence, Super Powers + Gender) Critical Perception (Violence + Gender) Public Perception (Violence + Gender) Differences Between Genders (Violence + Gender) Why some art is good, and some art is bad! (Violence + Gender... maybe both at the same time.) Overview of Dreams I've had (Dreams, obviously) Attempts to recount said dreams to other people (Dreams + Reality)
I'm going to stop listing, since I think you guys have the gist of it by now.

I'll be exploring things much the same as Richy. Though the music taste will be a bit different. And I can focus on MMORPG's for games more than anything else, but anything's fine.
However, give me a task and I'll write about it to the best of my ability.
