Seems like the only CLAMP work that has been looked at on here is Code Geiss so I'm here to plug some more at you.
First of all, Cardcaptor Sakura...definetely one more suited for girls, it was made in the 90s and has that sort of look about it. The main character, Sakura, one day finds a book when she's cleaning which contains cards in it. Picking up the first one she sees, it activates and sends all the other cards flying off to different locations in the city. The first half of this series sees her, Kero and her best friend (and cousin she eventually finds out) Tomoyo going after the cards and trying to become the new master. Standing in her way is Li Shoran, a distant decendant of Clow Reed, the maker of the cards, who also aims to become the new master under his mother's instructions from Hong Kong. The second half of the series deals with new phenomenon occuring around the city, as well as Sakura's crush Yukito as he gradually becomes weaker and her figuring out who she loves the most.
Next, Chobits. It's set in the not too distant future where computers have been shaped like humans and many people become so engrossed that they forget about the outside world and others that they love. This is when persocoms as they are called can do pretty much anything for them. This series follows Hideki after he finds a persocoms he names Chi disgarded in the trash and tries to get her to work. Gradually he introduces her to the outside world but finds that for a cute looking and mysterious persocom it's not such a safe place as it appears. Meanwhile Hideki tries to understand why people fall in loves with these machines and his own feelings towards those around him.
My favourite right now, xxxHolic, follows Kimihiro Watanuki, a high-schooler who's followed by spirits. One day, he accidentally wanders into a shop owned by Yuko Ichiharu, who says she can grant his wish in exchange for him working in her shop for a while. Whilst doing this, Watanuki begins to consider that being able to see spirits might not always be a bad thing as he becomes friends with Shizuka Domeki, who has the ability to excocise and repels spirits but not the ability to see them, and Himawari Kunogi, his love interest but apparently bad luck. As this series progresses, Watanuki undergoes a large transformation in the way he sees the world and questions what connection he has with Shoran.
The series that runs along side this is Tsubasa: Reservior Chronicles. It starts with Sakura, the princess of the country of Clow and Shoran, the adopted son of an archiologist (who was Sakura's father in CCS) having to flee their world after going deeper into a ruin unleashes the princess's true power, which immediatly starts drawing her into the walls of the ruin. To save her, Shoran pulls her away from the wall, sending her "wings" flying. The priest Yukito sends Shoran and Sakura (who is asleep and close to death) to another world where the Space-Time Witch (Yuko) resides. Two other people arrive, Fai .D Flowright and Kurogane from other worlds and after paying a price, they are given Mokona, which will allow them to travel between worlds in search of feathers which will restore Sakura's memories. The price Shoran and Sakura have to pay, however, is her memory of their previous relationship.
It's not important to read both Tsubasa and xxxHolic to understand what is happening but it helps quite a lot. It's also worth knowing stuff about other CLAMP series when reading the last two because they get referenced quite a lot.
