I'm hyperings thanks to HE-WHO-SHALL-NOT-BE-NAMED . So, discuss here your opinionees (wow, that's like onions) on space and whether there is life oot there on other planets, and how scary the huge expanse is and-- hey, what surrounds the universe? Is it like some giant brick wall which is invisible or something? Um, yeah and what's your favourite planet? Those kind of things.

Gosh, now I'm Voldy? I'm a lot shexier than Voldy. I mean, I have HAIR. Aliens exist. They've got to. I don't think we're the only life in the universe ... it seems to crazy. And if aliens came, it'd be fun and interesting as long as they didn't try to wipe us out or smelt like really old cheese. I don't have a favourite planet either ... they're just ... there.

Mars is legendary, but I find it amusing that just because NASA's current expedition there has discovered that water did once exist on the planet, everyone's like "ZOMG, let's go fly up there and melt the ice and then drink all the waterz" and it's like, "dude, that water ain't drinkable; it's made up of all sorts of weird thingies" (but I don't know what), and so everyone cried.

inb4 Daleks, Borg, Klingons, and other shenanigans.
I do believe there is life elsewhere in the universe. It just makes sense for there to be. For Earth to be the only planet in the galaxy to support life would seem to imply that life on Earth is a mistake, as it deviates from the norm of the universe. Life does exist on other planets, elsewhere in this galaxy and in other galaxies.
Favorite planet? Qo'noS, for starters. Not to mention Kelemane's planet, Skaro, Gallifrey, Telos, Bajor, and Archer IV, among others. But, sticking to actual planets, I'm quite fond of Saturn.

Well, even if they do, it's not like we're going to know in our lifetime. We can explore the reaches of our own Solar System in one lifetime, going at a normal speed. We'd have to develop some sort of warp-travel to ever really know if there's life anywhere else in the Universe, much less in our own Galaxy. So, that life dream can't happen for me, sadly. I would totally kill to live in a world where diverse species inter-mingled, with vast space stations, and a completely different society due to it, as well as all the crazy future tech. I must also believe that Jedi exist somewhere in the Universe, and George Lucas is the human nexus of these intergalactic memories and thoughts. Also - I hope the reincarnation exists, because I'd kill to live in a futuristic time period. Also Saturn = The cooliest. It has the neatest rings.
