Wow, awesome results. I really hope I do that well, I know I'm gonna fail Art though. I can do the exams alright, but coursework ... well I can't just draw all the way through it.

The only think I can think about close to that, that I've had... are things called MSAs(Middle School Assessment), which I took two out of the three years I was in that grade. We don't get the results back of those, and they're not graded, they're just to see how well the school is doing. However, with George Bush's "No Child Left Behind", My year is the first year required to pass a test called the HSA (High School Assessment). The year above us took it, but didn't have to pass it. I was just extremely unlucky. If we don't pass the HSA, we can't graduate. One of the worst parts about it, is that the teachers are required to teach us so many things that aren't what you'd call "involved" with the class we're taking, and then we have to pass the test with a rather high grade (it's not extreme, but it's still pretty strict. I managed to pass them all quite easily.) With all the extra stuff our teachers were required to teach us, made it so that 1/4 of the things on the tests (for every core class), none of us were even taught about. Beh, it all seems stupid to me. We learn less of what we're there to learn about, to instead be taught things that don't seem very well thought out... and the schools aren't even funded to teach it. (And if they are... hardly any funding at all.) I know that... all of my teachers think it's as stupid as the students think it is. I have to pass them again... in like six months.

I'd like to see George f**king Bush take those exams. Sounds major screwy. I'm so glad I don't go to school in America. Hey, Ran-ran, did you see Rosie in the local paper?

I agree with Shnophie. Make George Bushbrain sit the friggin' exams. I mean, what's the bloody point in it all?

Mm... I can kind of understand the point, and it might have been a good idea, if it had been done another way. *Shrug* I agree with both of you though, it'd be nice to see him attempt to sit through them.

I have absolutely no idea. We have so many newspapers in our house (I just found one from April ) ... it was published almost a week after we got our results, though.

I found it the other day - it's the Walden Local from 31st August. We keep newspapers for soooo long, it's ridiculous. I saw Wilson yesterday and he congratulated Frances and I on our A*s ^^. Apparently almost everyone in our class got an A* in the Lit paper but it was only a minority that got one in the Lang papers, which pleases me even more ^^. He said that nobody in the class got a B on either.

Pfft, don't worry. On average, you did better than me in all the exams together, anyway.
