Just finished watching this on TV and bloody hell, it was the best film I've ever seen. Even better than Kill Bill! Well, the basic plot is that a child is born and from that very day, he is filmed on a TV show in a huge studio. Everyone are actors apart from him and his whole life is just a reality TV show. It was incredibly thought provoking. I'd recommend watching it if you get the chance.

I've seen it multiple times, it comes on TV a lot, and I have to say I really like it myself. It really makes me wonder what it'd be like if that was happening to myself. Of course, I know it isn't it's just a rather interesting (if creepy) thought. It's one of Jim Carey's best roles, I think. (Strangely, I was just thinking about this movie yesterday, I really want to see it again.) I'd definately reccomend it also.

Yes this movie is amazing. I love how it's all played out that he had no idea he was even being filmed, until he's grown and starts to see things differently. This is the only movie that I don't like Ed Harris in (he plays Christof).. I love him as an actor, he's good, but his role in this is just simply cruel...and a bit disturbing at times as well.
I love Jim Carrey though.. he's such an amazing actor, to be able to play his wacky humorous roles, and then play these serious movies too, and be just as good in them. This one reminds me of what he was like in The Majestic too, which is another very serious film that I love.
I need to buy this movie, when I have enough extra cash to do so.
