"Old news!", I hear you shout, but not here. Well, Google bought YouTube for 1.65 billion dollars. I heard that it was bought with shares amounting to that, though. Not sure if this is correct or not. Anyone know?

Thats what i've heard... All the videos are going to get deleted and everyone will have to start from scratch. Its all to save YouTube's turkey from copyright infringements. So there is no other way round it really...
Sucks as well because I can't see anyway to download stuff from there into my iPod otherwise i'd have several series by now... ;D

I heard also that the creators of that site are only like 20-22 years old. They probably are millionaires now. Wish I could have thought of some site that google would buy from me.

Leading online video site Youtube has been forced to remove approximately 30,000 video files following a complaint from a Japanese entertainment group who said they were involved in copyright infringement. There is speculation that Youtube may have to install some form of primary screening on video clips uploaded to the website. Source: Here
