So, I got The Picture of Dorian Gray today but I want some more books to keep me busy over summer. I think I need to read some books that aren't about bands lol.
So recommend me some books!

I'd say get loads of manga, but that's not what you mean, is it? In any case, read the Harry Potter books if you haven't already. I also started reading The Da Vinci Code a while back too and it was pretty good, although I didn't get anywhere past the third chapter.

Prey by Michael Crichton will keep you busy for a while. It's really scary at one point. I read that a couple of years ago and would definitely recommend it. It's about this swarm of nanobots or something. Much more interesting that it may sound to you and easy to read, as well. It's quite long but it's not one of those long books that feel as though it's just dragging on. The pace is nice and fast. Some of the techy stuff may go a bit over your head (it went over mine) but you can still understand the story without worrying about coding and programming and stuff.

Yeh, you probably will. I went on about it for quite a bit. Hmm, there is also the Wheel of TIme series by american author, Robert Jordan ... you probably heard me going on about those a lot sort of September-December time last year. They were the books that Sam lent me.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean, I think. Aren't they really massive though? That puts me off slightly!

Big, yes but addictive. And if you're going on a long, boring holiday (like your one to Wales last year ), it's good for passing the time.

Might be to late to recomend, and I don't know if you've already read it. But I would recomend the book "Brave New World". It's a really interesting book.

I agree with Shnophie! Start reading WoT books!! i started yesterday and I've read about 140 pages. I'll probably have it done by the end of the week. It's an awesome book! The first one is Eye of the World so read that one. Sorry about that, WoT is just so awesome.
