Well, for me it's fantasy. I love fantasy books, especially The Wheel of Time series. What're everyone else's favourite genres?

Horror. Anything with death and gore I'm there.
I enjoy modern day fantasy as well. I don't know whether Rping ye olden days has totally thrown me off fantasy, but modern just makes me squeal.
For anyone who likes modern fantasy/horror I highly recommend Anita Blake. ;]

For me it's usually fantasy as well, but I'm okay with the occasional Modern/Gore stories.
However... any book that can make me think, produce emotions, and actually care about what happens, is good to me.

It would have to be Fantasy as well (sorry that one cant break the mould). These include Lord of the rings series, Bartimaeus series etc. Wait, i also enjoy biographies of rockstars like Kurt Cobain or Jimi Hendrix.

er... probably like classic romantic literature. I'm getting into poetry bigtime now. Probably because I'm not forced to read it anymore. Rimbaud, Verlaine, Emily Dickinson... stuff like that
Oh, and books about bands, naturlich. Rock'n'roll (auto)biographies, like

Mystery. I adore Agatha Christie. <3
Other genre includes: books with shiny cover, books with interesting titles, authors who I love.

I like horror, fantasy, or crime books... I also like pretty much anything that involves Vikings

Fantasy, crime, science-fiction, and romance providing it isn't the primary genre and isn't tacky. But I'm picky about genres. I don't love all books in a certain genre. That's just naive. I have very high standards when it comes to books, so I tend not to read a lot these days, as it takes me ages to find something I figure is worth reading.

Generally fantasy and sci-fi. I love David Eddings books and when the computer got strucj by lightning, I read 5 of them pretty quickly. Rather sad considering they're quite big books.

Lmfao, you're gonna kick my ass for saying I still haven't read any more of 'The Diamond Throne', aren't you? xD Well, at least I still have it in my room. I'll try and read some soon; I'm just really psyched up about writing at the moment.

Oh hell yeah I am! I don't understand why you don't like Sparhawk, he's nice. You need to get to the third one, then Ehlana wakes up and she's...umm...excited to see him.

Hah. Well, admittedly I've only read a few pages, but I just hate his personality already. I hate that he calls everyone 'neighbour' (even if it is part of his title, or whatever), and that he's so righteous. ALSO, I'm really picky about names in Fantasy stories. His makes me think of a Sparrowhawk, it's so horribly unoriginal.

How can you hate his personality? He's always helping people out, even if they're a prostitute. Besides, there are lots of good names, like Mirtai. She's awesome.

Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and, ever since I read Wuthering Heights, the romance genre is growing on me as well.
