'Twas the night before Stalmas, and all through the hut,
Nothing was stirring, not even the mutt.
And then, from the roof, came a tap-tap-tap,
As the little feet of slaves went pitter-pat-pat.
And then, through the roof, Father Stalfos did fall,
Falling on trees, and beams, and a doll.
Getting up slowly, he walked to the corner,
And placed little bones for the little Copwarners.
Slowly and surely, his footing was still,
And he left with a full stomach-bag after eating his Fill.
And all through the night, he traveled Hyrule,
Giving everything bones, except a squirrel.
For throughout the year. this squirrel had been bad,
And so, was left, with dust and a bag.
'Twas the night before Stalmas, and all through the hut,
Nothing was stirring, not even the mutt.
Roktimber the 34th (our December 25th) is the date Father Stalfos travels Hyrule, giving all the good little creatures bones, and the naughty ones dust, and a bag.
So, let us all celebrate his giftful spirit, and his wonderful taming of the Stalchildren to become his very hard working slaves, who take bones from each other so that good creatures have something to gnaw on.
Want to see what they look like? Well, here they are!
Father Stalfos, and, of course, his Stalchild slaves! As you can see, the Stalchilds are missing parts of their bones! Ever woken up with part of a bone in your sandal? That is where they come from!
Join me in song!
*To the tune of 'Silent Night'*
"Stalfosy Night, Boney Night, All is card, all is white, See, yon Stalfos, walking with slaves. See yon Stalfos beating those slaves. Beat, in heavenly peace, beat in heavenly peace."
Hey there! My name's LinksFan! I'm here to teach you how to make your very own Fill!
Ok, Fill is a very easy thing to make, and certainly satisfies Father Stalfos' stomach bag!
First, you need a large dodongo. Remove its stomach sack, contents and all, and place it to one side. Then, slice its head off and peel the skin, muscle and veins off. Keep the muscle, you'll need that later. Cut a hole in the skull and remove the brain, throwing the brain away. Wash out the skull.
Ok, now, take the stomach bag and empty it into the skull. Swirl it around a bit, just to mix it up. Place the cap you cut off of it back on and place it over an open fire for three days.
While that's simmering, take the facial muscle and slice it into wafer thin slices, only about two for every 30cms. Wash it carefully, and sprinkle some of the skin over it.
Once your mixture over the fire has come to a boil, remove and add the muscle.
Now, place the skull over the fire for exactly half an hour. Once that is done, you now have your very own Fill!
Consumer Warning: LinksFan accepts no responsibilty for loss of life, sight, hearing, sense of touch, or limbs from eating the Fill.
Well, now that we are nearly ready, how about we get that Skeleton up? It really brightens up the hut and the children/little creatures love to decorate it!
Well, all you basically need is a 9 foot tall Skeleton, preferrably fresh, unless you want a plastic one. Remember, always place a thigh-bone in the Skull's left eye-socket!
Thank you, thank you. My name is LinksFan, and you have been watching 'Twas the Night Before Stalmas.
A merry Stalmas to all, and to all a good night.
