What do you really hate to read?

We've all been there; you're reading a book, the blurb made it sound pretty interesting, the artwork on the cover wasn't off-putting, and it seemed like it was a story you would enjoy. But, a few chapters in, you realise that it's really not worth your time. What are your biggest pet hates when it comes to reading books?
