Welcome to version four! There've been quite a few changes, not only in appearance but also to the content of the forums. We've tried to make things more slimline and condensed the boards. All of the old entertainment boards are still around, made sub-boards in the main Entertainment board, but the Notice Board has been removed. Your Voice also has its own board now, too. As well as this, there's been a new Reviews board added. There are probably some other changes I'm forgetting to mention, but by all means go crazy and find them.

Encycloclique is a whole lot more community-focused now, with the advent of version four. Not only will you notice that the appearance of the forum has changed greatly, you hopefully will also observe that the forum's publication, Your Voice, now has its own board, immediately accessible from the home page. If you're looking for an enjoyable, rewarding community event to get involved with, then look no further. Your Voice is available for all members to contribute to, so if you're a keen writer, or simply wish to share your views on a particular matter, be sure to join up.
Another new change is the début of the 'Reviews' board. Even if you're unable to write for Your Voice, if you want to review a game, film, book or any other form of media that you're familiar with, then check out the board and have a go. You might even gain some recognition; each month a 'Spotlight Review' will be picked and advertised in the board banner, as well as in the latest issue of Your Voice. The Spotlight Review is the best review submitted in that month, as judged by the staff members, and as there is no limit on how many reviews a member can post, the more you post, the more chance you have of being in the spotlight (though we may ask you to remove a review if it does not meet our standards, so don't think you can be lazy about it).
Lastly, our exclusive RPG, Afterlife is still in progress, so if you're a keen role-player, be sure to take a gander and see if it's the thing for you.
We thank our loyal and active members for their continued support of the forums, and welcome our new members to follow in their footsteps and ingratiate themselves into this calm, friendly community.
